We offer several different Chiropractic Adjusting Techniques.

Activator Methods

Activator Methods Chiropractic technique was developed in the late 1960's and in the past 45 years has grown to be the most widely used "low force" technique in chiropractic. The hand held Activator has been specially designed to deliver a controlled, light and fast thrust without undue strain to the patient. The thrust is so quick that it usually adjusts before the body has a chance to tighten up and resist the adjustment. This treatment method might be preferred for pregnant women, children, and senior citizens.

Manual (Traditional) Methods

With their hands, the chiropractors will apply a gentle force to the bones of your back to adjust your spine in order to restore normal function. Our doctors are highly trained in this technique and have perfomed thousands of "adjustments"

NRCT (Neurologic Relief Centers Technique)

Physical or emotional traumas (stress) can build up tension at the base of your skull and can pull on the meninges (the membranes that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord). When they are pulled, it could irritate the nerves. This technique releases tension in the meninges, thus releasing nerve irritation. NRCT is non-invasive and usually painless.

The most common symptoms that respond to NRCT are: Pain (anywhere in the body, including fingers and feet), Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Numbness, Headaches (migraines), Forgetfulness, Burning, Insomnia, Sleeplessness, Fatigue, Digestive Problems, Nervousness, Anxiousness

Dr. Howard Fidler is one of less than 100 doctors in the country trained in this amazing technique. He can perform a test to see how you respond to help determine if you are a candidated for NRCT.
